Webkinz Foundation donates over $500,000 to charities featured on the Caring Valley™
Webkinz Foundation has donated $560,000.00 to the first five charities featured in The Caring Valley™ on the Webkinz World® site.
“Kids showed they cared. We listened!” says Executive Director Mindy Ganz. “The Caring Valley is a fun and meaningful way to help Webkinz World members learn about giving, and also learn about charities that work to benefit children all around the world.”
Webkinz Foundation is proud to announce the following donations:
- Save A Child's Heart - $125,000
- Make A Wish Foundation - $125,000
- Free The Children - $110,000
- Unicef Canada - $100,000
- SickKids Foundation - $100,000
The Caring Valley is part of the Webkinz World site. After purchasing a specially-tagged Webkinz™ Caring Valley pet, members activate the bonus Feature Code to plant 4 virtual saplings. After all 4 saplings are ‘planted’, members receive their own customizable Enchanted Tree to plant in their Webkinz World yard.
